Short Introduction:
Team DUI, motivated by the idea of two Spies trying to kill one another, embarked on a challenge of interpreting this game mechanic into a 2D top down world. El Toro Loco succeeds at just that. The players are an assassins in Spain. Each player is attempting to kill his opponent who is also an assassin. Unfortunately, being at the Running of the Bulls can make their jobs difficult. The streets are crowded and its hard to pick out their target, scaring civilians thus revealing their position if they make a mistake. Braving the downpour of rain and the raging bull which can appear at any moment makes this one "toro loco" day. May the best Assassin win! Olé!

Brief Play Description:

"El Toro Loco" is a 2-player competitive game played with Wired Xbox 360 controllers. The object of the game is to find the enemy assassin and kill him before he kills you!

Press the [A] button to start the game.

Player 1 starts in the lower-left part of the street and Player 2 starts in the upper-right part of the street. Move the [Left Stick] to move your player around the street and blend in with the crowd. Moving the stick all the way to the edge will make you “run” faster than civilians.

You can move with the [D-Pad] to stay stealthy. You will be unable to move diagonally and you will always move at a “walk” speed.

Face your enemy and press [X] to fire your blunderbuss! You've only got one bullet, so make it count!

If you fire and miss, you can sneak up on your enemy, face him, and press [A] to stab him! But you'd better be sure of your target, because everyone around you (including your enemy) will know that you're an assassin!

Avoid the Raging Bull as you try to assassinate your opponent.

Special "thanks" to Andrew Grapsas, who was responsible for all audio you hear in the game.
