Animacule Apocalypse

Game Information
Short Introduction:
A board game simulating the struggle of Animacule (an early word for microscopic organisms).
non-digital (board game, card game, physical game, etc.)
Brief Play Description:

Players control an animacule. Each animacule can move across the board eating allelomorphs (DNA/proteins) to increase it's strength and reitance to calamities. When it is full (i.e. has 4) it can reproduce, either by cell division, or mating with another animacule. Animacules can also fight other animacules, reducing their allelomorphs until one animacule is reduced to 0, and so dies, leaving an allelomorph behind as food/spoils. If an animacule has to move to a square that has no allelomorph, then a clamaity occurs which can range from death of the animacule to diseases and sunbursts that wipe out all of a certain style of allelomorph. Consequently it is advisable to diversify the allelomorphs that your animacules hold, to make them more resiliant to these calamities. The last player with animacules still alive wins.
