Short Introduction:
A kid reading a boring comic imagines his favorite badass superhero burning through the pages.
Platform/System:
Web standard (Html5, Java, JavaScript, Flash)
Brief Play Description:

2D side view platforming game.
Main skills: precision, quickness, anticipation.

The superhero is trapped in the comic. He needs to burn the picture boundaries in order to cross them, to reach the end of the page.
He can do so by blastin the comic's speech bubbles. They explode and burn the page along with the picture boundaries, so he needs to cross quickly before he's caught in the fire.
There are different kinds of speech bubbles with different explosion range and speed, and each explosion can trigger a chain reaction if it touches other bubbles. The player needs to quickly plan his progression as he progresses through the explosions.

Comics and extinction

There's still some bugs here and there and one can get blocked with no way out (not even death).
Anyway, what you did works well enough to demonstrate your concept, which I found interesting.
And you are one of the few (the only group in Angoulême ?) who made a good integration of the local constraint (integrating a comic's speech bubble).

It's a little difficult to understand at first, but I eventually figured it out. It's an interesting concept, kind of puzzle-like.
