Fears on Fire

Game Information
Short Introduction: 
A community geocaching and online video project. This game uses the term "extinction" in the psychological sense of "reduction or elimination of fears."

Platform note: 
Each team needs one smartphone, GPS device/app, and a video camera.
Brief Play Description: 

Before game day:

Teams of 2-20 players, ages 13 and up and living/working within a 10 mile radius, register online. Each team creates a small box & decorates it. Team members write a deep fear they have on a on slip of paper and insert it into the box. The box is sealed.

On game day morning:

Teams hide their boxes somewhere within the radius area, write clues, and text their GPS location and clue to their event organizer.

On game day afternoon:

Teams are assigned to find the box of another local team. Teams travel to find the box using GPS coordinates and the clue. Next, bring the box home, disassemble the box, videotape team members reading slips of paper with fears, then burn the box and fears in small fire. Upload video to YouTube and send link to event organizer.

After game day:
