Brief Play Description:
You take control of an alien ship in geosynchronous orbit around the Earth. Your job is to protect the subverted human weapons satellite below you from missile attack, while destroying the human arkships launching the missiles at you.
Your ship has no installed weapons of its own. Instead, you must use its shiny metal underside to reflect fire from the weapons satellite below it. The ship's underside will rotate to face your mouse cursor. You have two weapons at your disposal - you can fire plasma bolts from the satellite to take out incoming missiles by using the left mouse button. The second weapon is the Deadly Death Laser of Doom (DDLD). Sadly, the firing controls for this have been locked, preventing manual firing. Instead, the laser will fire automatically at a regular interval, decimating anything in its path. Its charge progress is indicated by a vertical charge bar on its chassis.
DO NOT HIT THE SATELLITE WITH ITS OWN WEAPONS FIRE. It will hurt. Oh yes it will.
Arkships are tough, and laugh at puny plasma bolts. They can only be damaged and destroyed with the Death Laser.
If your satellite is destroyed (its remaining health is displayed by a blue bar beneath it), your failure only accentuates what a pathetic waste of flesh you are. If you manage to destroy all cities below, you earn honour, glory, and the right to play another game.
