Nom Nom

Game Information

Short Introduction:
Nom Nom is an artificial life simulation. Drop food to feed Blue and Yellow creatures while the Red carnivores prey upon them. If any single species goes extinct the game is over. How long can you maintain balance in this brutal ecosystem of nomming?
Platform/System:
Web browser with plugins (Unity player, Torque,...)
Brief Play Description:

Click the fruit basket icon to pull up the food menu, choose your food and click the ground to place it. Yellow eats Oranges, Blue eats Plums, and both species can eat Watermelons. Red does not eat food, but instead preys upon the other creatures (even resorting to cannibalism if their energy is low enough). Use WASD to pan the camera, zoom in and out with the mouse wheel.

Each creature loses health and energy at an exponentially increasing rate the longer they are alive. They automatically eat nearby food (or other creatures) to gain enough energy to breed before their inevitable demise.

Note: installation of the Unity Web Player is required http://unity3d.com/webplayer/
