Short Introduction:
Grid based play with 2-4 players where resources are sparse and building takes time.
Platform/System:
non-digital (board game, card game, physical game, etc.)
Platform note:
Board game
Brief Play Description:

Grid based strategy war game with 4 color factions trying to achieve board domination and total extinction of the other factions. One of the key elements of the game is the possibility of developing technology based on the previous civilization that existed here and vanished without explanation.
Rules: Players begin by rolling one D6 and the highest player starts and others follow in a clockwise fashion.

The board is a standard 18x18' 9x9 (1 5/8") square grid with "Bases" for each faction located in the corners. Evenly scattered throughout the board are resource points where players are able to mine for resources to create more characters and technology. Each player has in their arsenal 12 infantry pawns; which can form 2 and 3 man battalions, 6 tanks, 4 planes, 1 home base, 3 tech towers, 25 resource tokens and 2 nuclear rockets.

The game is won when one player has survived/destroyed all other players.

In the center of the board is a neutral area where the tech towers only have access to and the tech towers must visit and return to the base three times to unlock the "extinct" nuclear technology.

Playing the game: All players start with 5 resource tokens and a base located in their respected corners. Players must purchase pawns to populate the board.

Infantry pawns= Cost 1 RT, Can move 1 space per round, Can NOT attack, defends with 1 D6 and are the only pieces that can mine resources

Battalion formation happens when 2-3 pawns are combined together and form a group that expands their abilities by the number of pawns in the battalion (example: 3 pawn battalion=3 spaces per round, defends with 3 D6 etc).

Tanks= Cost 2 RT, Movement 2 spaces per round, attack/defends with 2 D6

Planes= Cost 3 RT, Movement 3 spaces per round, attack/defends with 3 D6

Towers- Cost 4 RT, movement 4 spaces per round, can not attack, defends with 2 D6, only pawn to enter neutral zone center square. 3 Tech Towers are required to enter NZ and return to Home Base in order to generate technology to create Nukes.

Base- Automatic cost, no movement, defends with 4 D6, can NOT attack

Nuclear Rocket-NUKES= Cost 6 RT after all 3 Tech Towers return to starting base and are planted on side of board. Movement 2 spaces per turn, have no defense, if attacked they will detonate only destroying currently occupied square if attacker wins rolls, if attacker loses, the nuke does not detonate (if it is being defended by another pawn), when the player reaches their desired destination they can choose to detonate the nuke they roll 1 D6 and the following numbers are the results of their detonation, 1-2 is a dud, the nuke is destroyed and causes damage to anything in the occupied square, 3-4 detonates and destroys anything in a 3x3 square radius, 5-6 destroys anything in a 4x4 square radius.

Resource Tokens- every round the each player receives 1 RT for having a base, they will receive additional RT's for each Resource space they occupy at the beginning of their turn at a maximum of 25 total RT. The number of RT earned per round are marked on the board as a 1, 2 or 3.

Movement- Players are limited to 2 pawn movements per round unless RT are spent 1 per pawn moved, each pawn can only be moved once per round.

Player's Turn- step 1 collect resources, step 2 move/spend RT for additional movement, step 3 resolve any conflicts, step 4 build additional pawns via RT spending.

Attack/Defending rolls- each pawn has a die value discussed above and will roll against the opposing die (2 tanks and 1 plane =7 dice, 1 3 man Battalion and a tower being attacked=5 dice, etc). If players tie all players involved are destroyed.

Multiple pawns may occupy any space except the neutral zone which can only be occupied by Tech Towers.

Players must have at least one pawn on the board to be in the game.

If players base is destroyed the remaining pawns are on their own and no new pawns may be generated.
