Discover a world of ambiguity and intrigue finding itself on the brink of extinction, inhabited by a race of creatures known as the Orbs. As their leader, it falls on you to guide them through their dying home as they cling desperately to a promise of salvation. In order to survive, the Orbs will need to band together to recall the knowledge their society once held. Lead your colony to the gifts of Energy and Life, using the powers they bestow to advance through your shattered environ.
Tread carefully, however; only when the orbs connect with each other will the transference of knowledge occur. As you traverse the trials ahead, explore an abstraction of the human psyche as a society reaches its breaking point; where the influences of a few will either help save, or help destroy, an entire civilization.
As of v3.0, the game is in a fully playable state, with art, music, movement engine, color transference from environment, color transfer from orb to orb, and both win & failure conditions.
This game was written in Visual Studio 2008 C#, with XNA 3.1. Running it requires Windows XP or better, Windows .NET framework 2.0 or better. XNA Framework is also required. To install, open the zip file, go to the "release" directory and click on setup.exe. If your computer does not have the XNA Framework files, check the "other" directory for the .msi file to install them.
