This is the story of Ugg the Caveman. These cave paintings relate his harrowing climb to avoid extinction.

Brief Play Description: 

Ugg! is a 2.5D platformer created from solid platforms and dynamically falling ladders. The player takes the role of a cartoon Neanderthal, Ugg, striving in vain to avoid his ultimate fate; being viciously devoured by an ever-breeding swarm of saber-toothed bunnies.

The player can make the character jump, move left and right on platforms, move up and down on ladders, and influence the ladder’s tilt by leaning left and right. The impending threat of the bunnies moves steadily upwards from the bottom of the screen, never dropping below the visible frame. If the player hits this line, the game ends.

The game cannot be “beaten;” it will only perpetually re-populate the last half of the level. Instead, the goal of the game is to accrue as many points as possible. Of course, the longer you survive, the more points you gain!
