The very rare Ratavas are almost extinct. Hunt the last of them and sell their fur, battle against opponent hunters and animal right actvists, and become filthy rich !

Brief Play Description:

Dear readers,

As you already know, the theme of the Global Game 2011 is the word “Extinction”. So we ‘ve
decided to choose one the meanings of that word : that is the extinction of species, in other words the endangered animal species.

The game we are presenting to you , Xeno Hunt Overdrive, is a FPS where you embody a hunter
looking for blood and fur (yes, you heard me !), in order to make more money and thus buy more
weapons. Weapons that will be useful to kill more and more creatures. But one question remains:
why ? Because the species in this game are in MEGA-EXTINCTION, which implies that the blood and
fur prices will keep growing faster.

The player has to be in a logic of pure scoring where the aim is to kill the as many creatures as possible in a short period of time. Meanwhile, you have to get the activists vegetalists and the others hunters out of you way.

The graphic style is in 3D with tons, colors and character designs which refer to the age of the monochrome Game Boy style.

The Soundtrack shows a mix between 8 bits music and metal music, with little tiny cute-cute-cute, adorable sounds of pets… cute is unbearable, isn’t it ?

What is so unendurable is what makes of this game an ode to killing, a representation of the
consumerist absurdity of Humanity, even when the World is close to destruction. It is a game full of jokes, absurdities, cute things (yuk), so you need this game, you need Xeno Hunt Overdrive.
