Game Information
Short Introduction: 
You are Tepin You are a young Aztec girl, taking the rite of Shaman-hood. The rite is undertaken as a quest inside the mind and the spirit world, which one can only complete by finding true balance within themselves. You must walk the paths as many times as it takes to achieve this. In the mind of Tepin, the seeking quest takes place inside the body of Quetzalcoatl - the feathered serpent god of the Aztecs. She has to cross various obstacles and challenges with the help of each of her spirit guides, to find balance within herself, and avoid harm from malevolent spirits.

Brief Play Description: 

'Aniball' is a hand-drawn 2D side-scrolling platformer, that makes use of Sifteo Cube technology for a control and inventory system. It is for 1 player and can also be played on a regular keyboard. Our game integrates: special powers; puzzles; a mini-game; varied characters; and an eye-catching art style; in order to deliver a high level of engagement, and a memorable experience for anyone who plays.

++How to Play++

Use the cursor keys to move. Left and Right are either direction. Up is jump.

Numbers 1,2,3,4 are for each of your spirit guides. If you select the correct one for an obstacle, you will have to play a short 'Simon' mini-game to successfully summon them. This is also done with the arrow keys.

Each spirit gives you a special power:

Rhino - Strength - Move heavy objects, by moving with L or R key against them. Cannot Jump.

Hare - Will - Jump is much higher. This is used with Up key, as with human mode.

Ant - Intelligence - Shrinks you down, and allows you to eat through loose earth. Just move Left or Right into the earth and you automatically chew. Cannot jump. Hitting trapped air pockets causes death.

Fish - Life - Produces water by pushing the Up key, allowing you to survive otherwise deadly drops - and purify/clean dangerous liquids you have to swim through. Cannot Jump.

1 Cube has the 4 directional arrows on it. Each are activated by tilting the cube in the correct direction. This is used for all movement and power controls, as well as the summoning mini-game.

The 4 Spirit guides each have their own cube, and their icon appears on it. These cubes correspond to numbers 1,2,3 and 4, and can have their faces clicked for summoning attempts.

The 6th Sifteo cube also has a 'reset' option, in case you get trapped, stuck, or bugged, which will return you to the start of the screeN.

There is no menu or pause. Level screens appear sequentially.
