Short Introduction: 
From the Ashes is story about a phoenix trapped in a world. The Phoenix must battle its way to the evil Serpent demon in order free himself from its curse.

Brief Play Description: 

2d Shoot-em'-up style game where the phoenix must destroy its enemies and die* in order to enter the next level. Eventually he has to face the boss. On beating the boss the game restarts but goes even faster!

BAD ASS!

this game is sooo hard! i can't even get to the second level! but it sure looks pretty. it was great working with everyone on it, and i'm looking forward to seeing it completed.

Superb job on the phoenix, and then the concept of descending into the different levels is really breathtaking. Would love to see more done with this!

The game is dope and we all did a great job! I certainly hope that we can get together and finish this game. This was a blast!
