Game Information
Short Introduction:
Albert Price is locked in the attic of his laboratory. But he is not alone. He has his flamethrower. And some annoying entities from some other plane of existence that want to steal his soul. In this pitch dark room, Albert will have to react fast to escape the chase of the monsters. Or just banish them back to wherever they came from by setting them ablaze, whichever seems more appropriate. Or are -you- going to tell the man with the flamethrower what he should or shouldn't do?
Mac OS X+
Linux / Unix
Platform note:
Not tested under Linux or OS X, but should work (if you feel like compiling)
Brief Play Description:

You are trapped in a pitch dark room swarming with evil creatures wanting to eat your soul. Your only way of surviving is to dodge the creatures and use your trusty flamethrower as both a mean of illuminating your surroundings and banishing the terrifying monsters back to their realm. Our interpretation of the theme is that of self-destruction: The more you use your flamethrower, the smaller your light radius becomes, and thus the game becomes harder. However, you need to kill the ghosts or you will be overwhelmed. Gameplay inspired partially by The Binding of Isaac and Super Crate Box.

Extract the binaries and run GGJ12.exe. Requires the Allegro (http://allegro.cc) monolith DLL, msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll, all supplied with the binaries. (First upload was missing some DLLs, so it was reuploaded. Sorry!)
Linux and Mac OS were not tested, but it should work on those platforms.
