Short Introduction:

Flying Kabuki Planets is a kilo-player online shooter game with many balls inspired by the endless recursion of the movie "Inception".

Brief Play Description:

In Flying Kabuki Planets you are a fighter starting in a circular world which it self embeds other circular worlds. Your mission is to kill all the other fighters while you are travelling from circular world to circular world and getting deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole.

As a fighter you can perform the following actions: move left, move right, jump and shoot. With jumping you can get from one circular world to another. You can also enter or leave the circular worlds.

Flying Kabuki Planets is a multiplayer game with a dedicated java server.

Controls:
LEFT - Walk Left
RIGHT - Walk right
UP - Jump on top of another planet
CTRL - Incept to enter or leave a planet

Installation Notes:

Mac Binary:
+ Extract the zip
+ Start FlyingKabukiPlanet.app

Windows:
+ Start the exe

From Source:
+ Install Ruby 1.9 (Windows http://rubyforge.org/frs/download.php/75465/rubyinstaller-1.9.3-p0.exe)
+ Make sure you have "bundler" installed. If not, open an terminal / bash and execute "gem install bundle"
+ We included a Gemfile for the other gems you need. Just switch into the FlyingKabukiPlanet folder (cd ...) and execute "bundle install"
+ Finally run: ruby game.rb 178.77.69.143 8081 "player_nick" - where "player_nick" is a name of your choice
