Its loss is our gain

Though it was unintentional, I think the absence of polished graphics actually improves the game. The abstraction of people and objects into a few simple shapes and colors adds quite a bit of depth to the concept. I'd like to reiterate the point that David Whatley made during the presentation: you shouldn't go back and add representative graphics to this game. It works very well as it is!

Strangely, at the last game jam I attended, I was a one-man team, and I made a game which abstracted people and scenery into cubes. Is there something about working by oneself that causes them to reduce things into simple shapes? I'll have to put some thought into that.

Anyway, great work!

Keep the low-end graphics

This is a cool idea and brought me back to the days of "Adventure" on Atari 2600. It could use a definite bump, but by keeping the aesthetic is leaves the imagination open.

Video please!

Though the graphics are simple, the voice-over during the demo was absolutely hilarious. Please please please record a gameplay video with that same patter, it would be awesome to share. :)
