Game Information
Short Introduction: 
Board game inspired by Snake and developed from a rough idea by Jamie, rules and game play and test art by Dr. Mike and nice fancy art by Kate and Jason.

Brief Play Description: 

Players start with a snake, laid out by placing 9 special tiles. From then players play in turns either with one deck, or each with a different coloured deck, with one player as Head and one as Tail. 3 Player is possible with two Heads, 4 player with two tails; for more than two players, two snakes are laid out in set up, sharing a common central tile. Players encounter turn cards, straight cards, obstacles or rewards. Alternatively, players can choose to remove their last card, provided that it isn't obstructed by a trap or is one of the special knot cards that can never be removed. The game ends when a Head or Tail cannot make a legal move, or when a Head and Tail on on the same space. Cards can be laid on top of each other. The "winner" is determined by how many cards lead back to the starting "knot" card, but only those that are not "trapped" or obstructed count, so it is difficult with cards stacking to have a clear idea who has won until the end.

Diversifiers and Credits
GGJ 2012 Diversifiers : 
Asymmetry: (Every player is different) The game requires more than one player, but each player has entirely different goals and rules.
Collaborative Casual/Hardcore: (Two players: one casual, one hardcore) Collaborative play for two, but one player has more to do than the other (or the difficulty level is different between them).

Installation Notes: 

Print out the word doc double sided with Long Edge Finishing (from the advanced properties in print settings) to create a quick version of the tiles; print on card for better quality, and the front and back should line up. It's currently in A4 format, so US Letter people will need to fiddle with the left margin to get it to print correctly. This is the test art, and final art will be uploaded later.

NOTE: Final version of rules of play to follow. Final art not used in the test deck; look for the art to be incorporated into the game cards this week.
