Brief Play Description: 

As the phoenix, navigate the ring of time, avoiding contact with the physical world (tilt the phone or tap the buttons to move left and right). Each time you complete the loop, the seasons change and the speed increases. Obstacles are randomly positioned, and determined by the season. When you collide with the physical world, the phoenix begins to burn more fiercely. Enough hits cause the phoenix to burn itself up and be born anew to play again. Your score is based on how long the phoenix survives - see how high you can get it!

Installation Notes: 

Extract Path of the Phoenix - Windows.zip, and click on GGJ.exe to preview the game in Windows. Arrow keys (left and right) can be used to move since Windows doesn't have an accelerometer!

If you have the Windows Phone SDK and an App Hub membership, you can build the project from the GGJ.zip file and deploy it to the phone.

On no!

Not quite sure what happened to the two game files I uploaded Sunday (or our screenshot, or the description, or... looks like nothing I added actually stuck) so I re-added everything tonight. We did show the game (on the phone) to the Atlanta panel Sunday night and got a lot of great feedback! Thanks to everyone involved!

Also, today we added a Windows version of the game to the project so that those without the SDK can still play the game. :)
