Lucid approachs to side-scrolling puzzle genre with a different control method. Our goal is not to control the main directly but using an indirect manner with the active contribution of the plyer. The player will interfere the parameters of the ecosystem and let the jellyfish move by its own natural dynamics.

Our game consists of different species which share the same habitat. But their collective behavoir create some problems.

The antagonist is a jellyfish which tries to reach to its herd. The planktons it encounters make it slower and prevents it to reach its destination.

Their planet had a massive earthquake and they have escaped from their home where they live underground. But there was danger on the surface of the planet and our hero helps them to go back to their home. Our hero takes great danger by aiding them and letting them stay with him.

The robots you are about to control were designed to protect a high security

laboratory. Yet even they failed when the attacks came. The wild life around

the laboratory had burned everything to the ground. Nothing remained intact,

except two security robots.

These can magnetically bind to each other at the cost of irritating creature

hives. However they must work together to reach the safety of the shores

since they have sustained critical damage from the attacks. The blue robot

can still fly but it no longer has its weapon. Whereas the red robot is

My game is ITCHY! The adventures of a bug fleeing the very creature it is walking on. The idea emerged from the "problematic togetherness" in the extreme asymmetry of a parasite-host relationship. The purpose of this work is creating interesting and unique gameplay with a simple structure. So I mostly focused on the core components and parameters that define the gameplay. The maps are automatically generated from Voronoi diagrams because they resemble a reptile skin, and they give us an irregular cellular structure that allows complex strategy to emerge from a simple conflict.
