Jörmungandr has grown and is constricting the world, race through the serpent searching for a solution.

"It is said that when the day of Ragnarok comes again, Jörmungandr, also known as the Serpent of Midgard will be freed to turn the world into chaos. Then, as all the Nord Gods and Goddesses battle throughout the lands, Odin’s son and the God of Thunder Thor will have to fight and kill the monster, and perish from its poison, fulfilling his destiny at the Ragnarök."

Ouroboros represents the never-ending cycle of Rebirth and its Nordic equivalent is known as Jörmungandr (pronounced [jœrmuŋɡandr]), mostly known as Jormungand, the World Serpent that grew so large, it was able to surround the Earth and grasp its own tail. Legend has it that the world would end if it ever let go of its tail so our game is all about this massive space snake that is seeking out it's tail while devouring planets that stand in its way.

Ties into the Ouroboros theme with the Norse mythological the Ouroborus appears as the serpent Jörmungandr. Jormungandr is consuming the Level as you play (level gets smaller) as you fight wave after wave of Vikings. When the world is finally consumed it is reborn and the gameplay continues (difficulty goes up). Jormungandr tells the epic tale of Life and Death and its infinite cycle.
