"Duat" follows the erosion of an Alien society from the external influences of art, science, literature and history. The game metaphorically explores the ideas extinction of language, culture and society through the player experiencing the destruction of their alien culture and the beginnings of a new culture by the games end.

You play as a volcano with a tribe of tikis living at your base. They want to make you go extinct. Punish them for their insolence by burning their tribe into extinction!

Dominate other bacteria and claim control of the Petri Dish by exterminating your opponents. Collect power-ups, and use different directional strategies to prove you are worthy. Brought to you by Rage Quit.

O HLC é uma super máquina que poderá permitir aos cientistas descobrirem a origem do universo. Porém ela é altamente perigosa e muitos acreditam que dela poderão surgir buracos negros capazes de extingir a raça humana. A história começa a partir de uma ligação de um dos executores do projeto que informa que uma de suas estações nucleares de energia está quase explodindo, nesse momento houve-se uma explosão e o LHC esta prestes a ser engolido por urânio capaz de agilizar ainda mais a produção de buracos negros. O jogador comandará um cientista e deverá desligar o reator antes que a explosão se torne a extinção da raça humana.

Our submission for the theme ‘Extinction’ is an ironic twist to saving endangered animals with a strategic tower defence game. Thousands of animals are migrating to far off countries in search for shelter from certain extinction, regulated safe houses and sanctuaries have been built to shelter these animals however with limited supplies and facilities we can’t save them all. Every other animal will be treated as hostile and terminated on sight for trespassing. Which animals will you save?

FYI is a game completely based on infographics. The player needs to traverse the game world, which is built from bar diagrams and pie charts. These constantly change based on the players actions and movements. One bar shoots up in the sky when you fire a bullet, while another grows with every step you move. The player has to watch his/her every move to make it to the other side of the level. The extinction theme is translated into our representation of bar diagrams. Everything the player does is connected to a wider issue represented in those diagrams, as shooting enemies increases the amount of ‘wars declared’ diagram. The bar diagrams and other info in the game serve as metaphors for the main possible causes of our extinction.
