Downfall

Your rating: None Average: 2.9 (13 votes)

The game is an arcade-style hybrid of Tetris-like, missile-command-like, Pong-like, and Breakout-like gameplay. It is designed for two players on the same machine, both having to work together to survive the level. The object of the game is to destroy rocket-propelled barrels of radioactive death, which are falling from space towards a large city.

After a last minute game change, Downfall replaced our original idea at 10:30pm on Saturday.

Brief Play Description:

2 players co-operate to save a city. Radioactive, rocket-propelled radioactive barrels of ultra-doom are slowly falling towards a city. Each player pilots a ship on one side of the screen. Shooting the barrels deflects them away from the city, but towards the other player, who then has to dodge the barrels, or lose some life. Both players also lose life when a barrel hits the city. Game ends when either players health bar runs empty.
