how to upload your game

Before You Submit
1. Make sure that you are registered with a site, and that your name appears in the list of jammers of that site (/jammers). If your name does not appear, you can’t submit a game. You must have been registered with the GGJ website AND have filled out your profile (where it asks for your real name and Jam Site).

2. Start your game project by clicking on “Game Project” under “Create Content” from the menu on the right column, after you log into GGJ.

3. Fill out as much details about your game as possible. You can leave files and screenshots until later. But you can enter the name of the project and team information.

4. Under the “Contributors” section, you are given a list of all REGISTERED JAMMERS at YOUR SITE. If someone is in your team, but their name does not appear there, it means that person has not filled out their profile. Have them go do that ASAP the deadline for that is also at 11. You can save and come back to fill out the rest of the people.

5. If you YOURSELF are not listed, it means you have not followed instructions from (1) above. You can save the game but it will be only accessible from your “MY GAMES” link in your navigation menu. After you register, come back to “My Games”, and finish entering the game

6. Anybody designated in the “Contributors” section can edit the game. You can navigate to find your game project (see below) and edit it.

7. Add your packaged compressed files

8. Save

9. Verify that it appears correctly and all the files are visible and downloadable to others.

Create game project by 11am on Saturday.
Upload game by 3pm on Sunday.

Please note that you may park for free after 5pm in the parking garage directly across from Beering on University St. However, our tech talk begins at 4pm, so you may want to park in the meter parking there for an hour or so first.
