I've been involved in gaming, one way or another, since 1977; first as just a player, then in retail, wholesale, publishing and writing. I've played all sorts of games - role-playing, adventure and strategy board games, and various PC/console and MMO games.

I've been a freelance writer/editor in the print media adventure gaming industry since 1992 and have been published by several different companies. Books I've worked on include the "When Gravity Fails" sourcebook for Cyberpunk 2020 from R Talsorian Games, the "H.P. Lovecraft's Dreamlands" sourcebook for Call of Cthulhu from Chaosium, and "Cults of Freeport" from Green Ronin Publishing.

Also, in the early '90s I owned/published a quarterly role-playing magazine called Vortext (which, I'm sure, none of you have ever heard of...lol). Here's a look at the stuff I've worked on.

As my hobby grew into my profession I discovered a greater enthusiasm for my games. The passion and enthusiasm which I brought to the table as a player I was able to express in my creativity and the pride which I felt in seeing a finished product ship out the door and into the hands of players around the world who would experience hours of enjoyment from something which I had a hand in producing.
